Lake Saint-Jean has 210 kilometres of shores from where it is sometimes difficult to get a glimpse of the other side. It is also a 3,500-km2 playground for water sports enthusiasts, since you can go swimming, sailing, fishing or sea kayaking in the lake. The beaches along the shores of Lake Saint-Jean are covered with golden sand on which it is always good to walk or relax under the warm sun.
Lake Saint-Jean also has 256 kilometres of cycling paths, known as the Véloroute des Bleuets. Numerous internationally renowned attractions are also scattered around the lake, like the Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien and the Village historique de Val-Jalbert. Discover the pilgrimage sites, the First Nations reservations and the numerous museums that will teach you about the history and culture of the region.
