The Innus, more precisely the Pekuakamiulnuatsh Nation, chose the Lac-Saint-Jean region to settle. The Innus were formerly known as the Montagnais. Visit the museum to discover their way of life, traditions and beliefs through the permanent and temporary exhibitions. Interpretive guides will give you their warmest welcome and will teach you their Innu culture.
