The city of Dolbeau-Mistassini has several natural sites and presents numerous festivals. In July, celebrate Les10 jours western extrêmes and in August, attend the Festival du bleuet, which is the emblem fruit of Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean! Two fine sand beaches are accessible free of charge, and a campground including all the facilities will enliven your stay.

Located in the heart of the city, the parc de la Pointe des Pères offers 4.5 kilometre long hiking trails, rest areas, a fishing area and an ornithological path. Along this path, you can observe several bird species like tree swallows, black-capped chickadees and Northern flickers. The Magie des Sous-Bois and the Frères Trappistes Chocolate Factory are other places that are worth visiting.
