Saint-Thomas-Didyme

Well known because of the main lake on its territory, the lac à Jim, the municipality of Saint-Thomas-Didyme houses a viewpoint located on the shores of lac au Foin and from where it is possible to observe wildfowl. In summer or in winter, the Centre touristique Lac-à-Jim proposes all kinds of activities like ATV rides, swimming, berry picking, pontoon rides, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and even more. Moreover, special events such as the bush pilots gathering or the snowmobile rally take place in this municipality.

You will also have the chance to go fishing for salmon or for other fish like the yellow walleye and the northern pike. In winter, you can live the unique experience of ice fishing. If you prefer hunting, you can try to catch a moose, a bear or any other small game. Then visit the community centre where you can admire an old photograph collection. In winter, hop on a snowmobile and go to the lac Doré cave, located north of Saint-Thomas-Didyme. You will be charmed by this cave and by the trails surrounding it. This cave also has a legend, so make sure you take the time to discover it!
