Since November 4, 1894, the date of foundation of their Congregation, Sœurs de Notre-Dame du Bon-Conseil have been the faithful witnesses and contributors to the development of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, the North Shore, Africa and Chile.
By pursuing a work of teaching and education adapted to the time and people, these women, devoted to the consecrated life, have contributed to build and shape a part of the 20th-century society.
In this manner, by their active and constantly-renewed participation, they have written, for more than a hundred years, the pages of a multiethnic social history that we can gladly read and reread at their educational historic centre.
