A vast territory of lakes and rivers, Saint-Félix-d’Otis houses a municipal campground that offers a public beach and several water activities. Located a few minutes from downtown, this small village conquered many moviemakers with its wild scenery, which attracted many to shoot their movies.
These shootings allowed the creation of the Site de la Nouvelle-France. Québec City’s Upper and Lower Towns, the ferme des Cent Associés and a Huron village were recreated. Inside the new theatre, you can attend a horseshow and relive the arrival of horses in New-France. You can even participate in archaeological digs on the site and take a bite at the restaurant. The site is accessible by the road or during a thematic cruise.
